Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using proofademicaidetector.net (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
What the Site offers
The Site provides a free, informational writing-pattern checker and related educational content. The checker measures surface features of the text you provide, such as sentence rhythm, vocabulary variety, repeated phrasing, and transition density, and highlights stock phrasing. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.
Independence and trademarks
The Site is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Proofademic or proofademic.ai, and it does not provide official Proofademic results. Proofademic and all other product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the products or services concerned.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and only with text you have the right to analyze. You agree not to:
- interfere with or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure;
- use automated means to scrape the Site or send excessive requests;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site;
- misrepresent the Site’s output as an official result of any other service.
Not a basis for decisions
Results describe measurable writing patterns. They are not proof of who or what wrote a text.
The Site’s output must not be used as the sole basis for any academic, employment, disciplinary, legal, or other consequential decision. Human writing can show every pattern the checker looks for, and AI-assisted writing can show none. Always use human judgment and, where relevant, other evidence such as drafts and version history.
No warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any result will match the output of any other tool.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or from any reliance on its output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Third-party websites and affiliate links
The Site links to third-party websites and services, including through affiliate links, which are labeled as a third-party paid service where they appear. We do not control those sites and are not a party to any transaction between you and a third party. Their products, prices, and terms are their own, and you use them at your own risk. We make no promise that any third-party tool will produce any particular result, including with respect to any AI detector.
Intellectual property
The Site’s design, text, graphics, and code are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable laws. You may view the Site and use the checker for personal purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the Site’s content without permission. You keep all rights to the text you analyze; because it is processed in your browser, we do not receive or acquire any rights in it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
